The price of vegetables is doubling as soon as they reach the retail market from the wholesale market. These days, there is no vegetable in the retail market that is below Rs 50 per kg.

Due to the impact of monsoon, the prices of vegetables are sky high. Not only green vegetables, potatoes, tomatoes, and onions are also emptying the pocket of common man. A big impact is being seen in the prices from the vegetable market to the retail market. In this race of inflation, even spinach and mustard greens are not behind. As soon as the vegetables reach the retail market from the wholesale market, the prices of the vegetables are doubling. These days, there is no vegetable in the retail market which is below Rs 50 per kg. In such a situation, not only green vegetables but potatoes are also missing from people’s plates.
